Injection process is made through holes drilled in rock and ground by various techniques. Rotary drilling method is used to drill wells with or without core. After the wells are washed, pressure injection is sent to the well. Injection is the pressure permeation of cement, mortar, bentonite or various organic and inorganic chemicals between rock cracks or ground cavities.

Injection is made under the foundation foundations for the purpose of soil improvement. In large engineering structures such as dams and tunnels, injection applications are performed by using Cavity, Consolidation and Impermeability Screen methods. Gradual Injection methods are applied where impermeability is important.
